DIRECTOR, Inclusion List Team

 Channel Factory is the leader in Social Video Marketing and is looking to grow our team with the addition of a Director for our Inclusion List (IL) Team. This role will serve alongside the SVP as the Inclusion List and YouTube product and process expert for the team, Sales, and clients. The IL Director will oversee clients and accounts in addition to managing a team of campaign specialists. The ideal candidate will be a strategic experienced professional with campaign management and direct buying experience associated with YouTube, SEM, Facebook/PMDs, and/or Programmatic/Trading Desks. They will be a self-directed professional who understands client needs and operates with a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline. 

Responsibilities:

  • Serve alongside SVP as the Inclusion List and YouTube (DV360 and Google Ads) product and process expert for the team, Sales, and clients
  • Oversee key Inclusion List clients and accounts
  • Reinforce the Inclusion List practice and answer client and internal questions, as well as hold trainings to elevate company’s knowledge
  • Execute full 360-Youtube media planning and buying understanding and functionality, while ramping up the team to serve as the campaign experts
  • Stay up with current events and industry changes, and update our Inclusion List approach and methodology as needed
  • Create unique Inclusion List solutions and practices for key clients
  • Work across departments on an on-going basis to improve product, knowledge gaps, and processes
  • Mentor and manage a team of Campaign Specialists nationally
  • Support team on day-to-day account needs
  • Create and update process docs and best practice guides
  • Review and analyze campaign data and historicals to improve practice and individual campaign performance and delivery
  • Stay on top of SalesForce to ensure proper revenue tracking and update CRM tool to fit business need
  • Review and reinforce MSAs, IOs, and unique terms related to the Inclusion List practice and industry
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues with Campaign Specialists, bubbling up major issues to SVP
  • Liaise with Marketing and management counterparts to ensure company materials and practice are aligned across the company and globally
  • Ensure billing is accurate and completed timely
  • Actively contribute and share findings across organization
  • Evaluate Campaign Specialist’s performance to ensure that personal and team goals are achieved
  • Coordinate the hiring and training of new Campaign Specialists
  • Maintain and build morale of team
  • Own and work on projects to further Channel Factory’s Inclusion List practice

Qualifications/Skills:

  • BA/BS
  • 6+ years of experience at an ad tech vendor or digital media agency
  • 4+ years of managing a team is required
  • 4+ years of client management and communication is a must
  • 3+ years of SalesForce experience is preferred
  • Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of strategic planning, campaign management, and direct buying experience associated with YouTube, SEM, Facebook/PMDs, and/or Programmatic/Trading Desks
  • Bonus points if you are Google Ads, YouTube, and/or Facebook certified
  • Passion and knowledge of the online video space including marketplace trends, including 3rd party research partners, DMPs, and studies
  • Effective communicator and storyteller with a strong POV and skillset to break down complicated digital or YouTube ecosystem concepts into simple ideas
  • A self-directed professional who understands client needs and operates with a sense of urgency, focus, and discipline
  • Keen eye for data and analytics to spot trends and advise to drive the strongest KPIs
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel calculations, pivot tables, and graphs to aid in deep analysis
