Channel Factory Takes Home Award for “Best YouTube Viral Video Campaign” at PR News’ Social Media Icon Awards
We are proud to announce that we have been awarded “Best YouTube Viral Campaign” for PR News’ Social Media Icon Awards 2013! We are excited to take home the award in conjunction with Nestle, Zenith and the Hot Pockets team for the viral hit, Snoop Dogg’s “Pocket Like It’s Hot”. We are honored to have helped promote the video and would like to give credit to Nestle, Zenith, and Threshold, for their amazing work producing the video and Golin Harris for their PR support.
Due to the quality of the content and as a result of leveraging our video syndication platform, the “Pocket Like It’s Hot” video not only reached trending charts multiple times in several different categories on YouTube’s dashboard, it also experienced increased earned media potential through the high levels of engagement it received on Facebook and Twitter. As a result of both high traffic and engagement, “Pocket Like It’s Hot” generated a substantial influx of organic views and secured top placements both on the YouTube charts and Google search rankings.
